Looking For An At Home Business

Have you ever wondered if you could really start a business and make money online by yourself? Do you have the dream of working for yourself? Do you want to be more available to your kids? Do you want a little extra income for things you cannot now afford? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I can offer some advice.

Close to six years ago I got divorced. Here I was “50 something” and suddenly on my own. My first thought was that I would like to start my own business. I will admit to ulterior motives. I was (and still am) an avid tennis player. I wanted to be able to have a flexible schedule which would allow me to play tennis. Well, I was afraid to take a chance, so I re-entered the “8 to 5” world.

Fast forward to 2005. I was fast approaching 60. The idea of starting my own business was still in the back of my mind and the urge was even stronger. I decided to take the plunge. Why now? First of all, I have a lot more confidence in myself. It is also so much easier to find a business now. You can search for anything on the internet.

I started researching. My email box was overflowing. There were so many opportunities that sounded good. Unfortunately I did not know anyone who could give me advice. I signed up for one legitimate sounding business and found out it was a scam. Fortunately I emailed and telephoned so much that they gave me my money back.

Then it was back to the drawing board. I had learned that what you get is not always what you are promised, so I was very careful. The experience left me with a desire to have a “work at home directory” to help others find legitimate businesses.

My adventure is just beginning. I found a very legitimate opportunity. One measure of a company should be the amount of support they offer. Many people starting a business are “newbies”. They need lots of resources. Another advantage of the opportunity I took was that a website was provided. Not only that, but I could modify it. This means that I could make a directory for “at home” businesses. This meant I had to learn HTML. What a sense of accomplishment when my revised site was online!

I still have that goal of working fulltime at home. I am progressing toward it and am determined that I will reach it. If I can do it, so can YOU! Don’t be afraid to dream. You must be willing to work hard. It’s tough working a 40 hour job and then putting in many hours on your at home job. Stick with it. Don’t give up. Just keep thinking of how good it will be when you no longer have to commute to work, when you can set your own schedule, and when those checks start arriving in the mail.

Making It Work From Home

Hello, my name is Sally and I work from home.

Let me tell you a bit about me... I used to work as full time retail assistant 8am to 5pm and with 2 young kids I was giving most of my hard earned cash to the childcare center.

One day about 9 months ago a friend told me how she was making $300 a day for just a few hours work on her computer. I didn't believe her but she showed me how she was doing it and decided to try for myself. I started off by doing some online surveys and also selling on eBay.

Anyway, before I knew it I was earning double what I got at my normal job for just a couple of hours of my time in the evenings and weekend, needless to say I quit that day job !

Ever since then I have carried on working from home and the great thing is that I work the hours that suit me and my family. I can look after my kids during the day, I can do the housework, I can socialize and I can do anything else I want, I just fit in my making money online work when it suits. I have total freedom and total control over my income. If I want extra money one week I simply just put in more hours.

There are a few paid online survey companies around but if you're going to sign up with one of these it's best to go with one that has been recommended to you by someone who has used them before.

As for selling items on eBay you can source products to sell from the many wholesale directories out there but be careful, I have paid money for wholesale directories only to find that some of the suppliers don't even exist or they expect to be paid by Western Union. (never pay anyone by Western Union !) By far the greatest genuine wholesale directory if you want to source products cheaply is Salehoo.

Life is too short to be spending all your time making someone else rich, work for yourself and get the rewards you deserve !

Before you rush out and quit your regular job, start off with one of the systems from my top 5 list (or any other mentioned on my site) working from home in your spare time and build up until you are earning an income level you are comfortable with, it wont take long. Show me the money : Reality on Making More Money Online

Was you promised the riches of that the Internet could bring only to find out that it just don’t happen like that?

Your not on your own.

1000’s of people start to make more money online home based business for many reason only to find that its not as easy as you think it was when you first paid over that money to the company. Most companies don’t even give you any training or support, you just pay your money and run with it.

Well I’m here to tell you folks that running a home based business in the early days is not easy. Don’t expect riches overnight, leaving your day job within a week or starting or even placing that deposit down on the Porsche. It just does not work like that.

I will warn you that if you see an opportunity of earning 6 figure incomes with 2-3 months then ask yourself a number of questions before handing over your cash.

Why is it a reality that a 6 figure income can be made in 2-3 months ? Do you honestly think that this can be repeated ? Can anyone do this ( Very important one is - Can it be duplicated ) Is there proof? Do you need a massive amount of cash to get it running? Is it a very easy way to earn money compared to what your doing right now. Print these question off and have them with you when you are looking at any opportunity.

Now here is the real answers…!!!!

If your a virgin just starting out - Lets face it , a 6 figure income is not going to happen in 2-3 months The only way to repeat it correctly is to do it yourself - Its your business remember Anyone can do this but they will NOT be as good as you will be. What you put in you get out!

Proof - The only proof you need is the proof to yourself that this can be done. Yes you will need some cash to get your business up and running. I don’t know of any major massive earning business in todays modern world that start with no money or the loan of money. Set a budget and stick to it.

Finally ……If you see a business that looks easy to work then it most likely will not last. You will have to work at any business daily ideally to stand a chance generating an income. I know people who have marketed their business for around 5 years before they made a sale however these guys now are the earning millions every single year.

The best way to think about this is to think of your business as a 50 mile hose pipe connected to a hand pump well. Now at the otherend of this hose pipe is a flower bed that needs water. The more you pump the more the water will come up from out of the ground , along the hose and then eventually to your flower bed where it will flourish.

If you stop pumping then the water goes back down into the well and you need to start all over again.

In summary folks….The money will eventually come if you keep constant.

Don’t EVER stop on your dream.
